NAIDOC 2000

NAIDOC Week is held every year to celebrate our indigenous culture. This year we celebrated NAIDOC Week with a variety of activities including traditional Aboriginal Art, Cultural Dancing, Sporting Events and Art Competitions.

To kick off the day we had a whole school assembly.

We had the privilege of having some Aboriginal Speakers who addressed us about having respect for each other and pride within ourselves.

Here are some of our winners for the Art Competition presented by some of our guests.

After all the hard work we were able to enjoy a delicious lunch, consisting of Emu, Curries and Johnny Cakes.
